I just have a question about like how many days I can play for?

So I just started and I think I'm like terrible?

I caught like 4 fish the first day and 8 the second then I ran out of fish the third day. Does this matter lol? Like does the game go on forever and you just complete things as you go along or are there things in it like if you don't do (x) by (x) day you are in trouble?

I do not mind spoilers so if you want to include them you can.

Also, any benefit to furniture changes? I see three options for stools.. other than costing me money and maybe looking better does it matter? Any increase of any stats like customers are happier etc?

Furniture does nothing as far as I can tell.

Going slow is fine, but keep in mine that getting farther earlier will make you stronger and richer. This makes events easier as they happen.

I think the people having trouble with bosses went very slow and didn't have enough money to afford the best stuff.

Shame about the furniture. I guess then it would be wise to just spend my money on the suit upgrades. This isn't like a "building game" where I'm designing stuff it's basically just skins. I love building games but just applying a new skin with no benefit is kinda lame. Be nice if you had a say so in the design/layout of the sushi restaurant itself.

Also, I got like wood and copper and a bunch of metals when diving where is that stuff? Where does it go should I not be getting it?

What is the weird symbol that pops up when I use a poison harpoon.. what am I supposed to do..? Looks like something with my mouse but I can't tell.

I would keep maybe 2 wood/scrap iron/glass in the storage box for later, but just leave the rest behind. It is common and it's more important to get valuables like ore or fish. If you ever need more you can just grab it all in a single dive.

The poison tip wants you to make circles with your mouse. They can be small circles, I don't even lift my hand off the mousepad when I do them.

If you caught a fish on the right side, they will be counter clockwise circles, and clockwise if fish was on the left.

I've read elsewhere that decor influences the number of customers, along side in-game socials. If it doesn't then it probably should - I seem to remember Yoshie (the recruitment NPC) suggesting that it would. However, I can't confirm whether decor does or does not have an impact as I've prioritised more pressing needs like Dave's gear, weapons, expanding facilities, training up staff etc.
