Do we run out of events/VIPs?

I love this game, but I am a bit tired of having to hunt specific fish to cater to VIPs and parties. I'm wondering if we ever get to a point where we can just go fishing in the day and deal with our restaurant at night without worrying about who's coming in three or so days. At my current point in the game, I seem to be getting these events at least once a week.

Oh good. I enjoy the VIP animations but I really just want to do my own thing with the restaurant for a while.

Theyre 100% optional though. They just mean more customers/money, if you bother to go with them. No penalties if you dont.

I didn't know they were randomly generated, but this is what I needed to hear. I don't HAVE to abide by the event. Post game, I can just enjoy myself. As a perfectionist, I just want to say thank you for this simple comment. :)

I havent tried to skip them by doing a night dive the same day as the event, but can you skip them entirely? Can you skip selling food? I havent tried so its a hole in my knowledge. When I served food that wasnt part of the event menu they got mad when there wasnt an option from the event menu available. So in the case you cant skip event days entirely you do get "punished" by not getting perfect score and 5 points to spend on research

You keep playing. Events come around again. The VIPs are one-and-done.

VIPs are 1 time while parties require you to go through each theme once before it becomes randomized.
