QWERTY / AZERTY keyboard display issue

So look, first off, I freaking love this game.

BUT my N°1 issue with it is that I don't have a QWERTY keyboard.
I've changed the keybinds to reflect that, but the game doesn't display the change of keys.
So EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I have some QTE, if it implies A, Q, Z or W, I get the added challenge of having to translate "ok it tells me Q, so it's A".

I hope the devs can fix that at some point.

im genuinely curious. isnt it a possibility to just buy a qwerty/qwertz keyboard and use that? Or like enable a different keyboard language layout in windows? I can just hotkey between QWERTZ and QWERTY, its a standard windows feature to change layouts on the fly. And i guess the keyboard layout menu in windows has even more layout options if you enable them? Like your keycaps dont mandate the key it actually is, its the setting in windows. (its in setting -> time & language, then add a new language go to options and you get to add a keyboard layout. See screenshot https://prnt.sc/0XpwY0SCLj_A )

It has nothing to do with my keyboard or my language layout, and I'm certainly NOT going to buy a QWERTY keyboard to play a game because the developpers forgot a feature.
Reverse the situation. Would you buy an AZERTY keyboard to play a game?

It's not an hardware problem on my end.
It's the game which is not displaying the keys I'm telling it use.
Even if I use the default keybinds of the game and switch my keyboard from AZERTY to QWERTY, I'll still have to waste precious time during QTEs translating the keys displayed in-game like "ok, W is Z, A is Q and vice-versa", because to me, W is NOT the same as Z.

Ah i understand now. Its because the buttons the game shows dont line up with what you are used to. Makes sense, thanks for the clarification.

Same problem with the german QWERTZ layout.

Luckily only Y and Z are swapped.

+1. Please address this. Seeing different keys to what your keybinds are actually set to is incredibly annoying and makes QTEs a pain in the butt.

+1 to this think it would be easier if we could set our own bind.
In the actual situation when you try to change it, it's stay the same when I press Z on mine it's stays as W for forward movement. And pressing still go forward indeed so it's no big deal once you know every action button but need to think about it before pressing in QTE to make sur i'm pressing right one

At the end of the day, I think the best solution would be for QTEs to display arrows instead of W, S, Q and D.

+1. It could be considered a bug as people who aren't familiar with multiple keyboard layouts can't understand what's going on.
