Without spoiling anything just keep feeding daily, keep at it. Don't skip night time working at the sushi restaurant while you work on this.

Pretty sure Tiddalik thinks you're talking about Momo. I've fed Mochi over a dozen times and still nothing, so I don't think it leads to anything else.

Don't know about story events, but one achievement is for feeding 20 times and you can't get that off of just Momo (on one play through anyway).

Feeding Momo 5 times does lead to a mini game and then a reward.

Don't need incentive to feed kitty. Feeding Kitty is its own reward.

Do need way to upgrade Regular cat food to premium. Cause Kitty deserves the best.
