Net Traps

Are net traps exclusive to Cobra or will you eventually able to find them/buy them/craft them? I'm tired of seeing tuna and not being able to capture it without wasting all my ammo and having to scrounge for ammo boxes

You can make a Steel Net Gun later on that can can catch anything the Net trap can as well. The Hush Dart can also be upgraded eventually to sleep large fish.

On a side note, use the harpoon if you run out of ammo, it does a lot of damage as well if you upgrade it . The lightning hook especially is great for tuna swarms.

You can only buy them from cobra, but eventually your net gun will be strong enough to shoot steel nets as well. Until you get there: my tip is to craft a tranquilizer rifle. It has 8 rounds with a 40% chance to put your target to sleep - even sharks and tunas. Then you can simply call the drone.

Tuna keep swimming the same loop. You can park yourself at one end of it and just keep harpooning them as they turn around until they die. Tedious but it works.

Thanks for letting me know. I've been slowly upgrading the net gun because I find it very useful for getting a lot of fish and eggs. I haven't tried the tranq rifle but I'll check it out

How does the net work? I caught multiple tuna with the sensor net and droned it out, yet none of those fish ended up in my fish tank for some reason.

Drone caught fish do wind up in your fish tank (storage for use in your menu). They don't go to your fish farm.
