Ending Upsets (Minimal Spoilers)

Reached the ending area and honestly quite disappointed…. Was it by the fish? No. The area design? No. The music? Nope… the freaking TALKING.
I understand wanting to guide the player but that was the stuff to do in chapter 1-6, I know how to play le video game now. It seriously feels like Dora the explorer with the amount of “can you FIND THE ____ and put it in the _____”
It would be far less annoying if the dialogue occurred passively or at least didn’t force a fade to black every other room…
