Extend my time for the Godzilla DLC

Hope I'm not talking heresy here but is it possible to play the DLC past the end date by going offline? Would I have to change an end date file to? I haven't had the chance to pick this game up yet

The time-limited free DLC, [Godzilla Content Pack] is only available for download until [November 23, 07:59 UTC, 2024]
Once downloaded, [Godzilla Content Pack] can be played and reinstalled even after the period ends.

If you buy the game and then add the DLC to your library you'll be able to play it afterwards. But you have to "purchase" it (for the cost of free) before then.

Because new players don't get the full game? They don't get the recipes and never will have the opportunity, pretty obvious stuff.

The game is already completed. According to your response, any pre-release content for a game would also make that game incomplete for others.

Once again worth mentioning that when you publish anything on Steam then it is there forever for anyone who's redeemed it even if it gets taken off the store. They'd have to take Valve to court if they wanted to take it further.

I mean by definition the Godzilla DLC is both extra and optional content. You can make the rest of your argument well enough on its own though.
