Failed Glacial Cave mission-- does it repeat?

I failed the glacial cave mission (where you need a narwahl to break through ice) (https://dave-the-diver.fandom.com/wiki/Trapped_in_the_Glacial_Cave) because I returned to the Sea People. It's listed as FAIL in my TODO mission log.

Does anyone know if this mission will repeat? I read it unlocks an item (Ice Pick).

In case anyone sees this thread in the future-- it does repeat :) Just go to the same cave and you will get the mission again. Whew!

I think all failed quests repeat. The Stormy Night quests also do repeat the next time a storm will hit.

I am not 100% positive but fairly confident that you can ignore any mission you are not comfortable with and it will repeat. This includes putting off any story missions as long as you like. Even if it seems time is of the essence, such as someone saying they need immediate help. You can wait as long as you want to address any of the missions in the game. For example, if you want to spend money on a specific upgrade and not spurge for a deeper depth suit for the next mission, feel free to play at your own pace. You can always make a manual save just to be sure. There are of course training missions that don't allow deviation from the next step the game wants you to take, but in general those are short and fairly early in the game.
