Apparently I failed lobster party ... what?

So I'm chilling on my 80ish hour in this game and the lobster party notice pops up. Okay guess I better prepare like I did with previous themed days.

3 dives each day I made sure to set and collect all 3 traps in either shallows, mid or depths, using 3 star bait to make sure I get most lobsters.
When day came I had every kind of lobster on the menu, 50+ of each and all dishes rank 7 or higher.
Waiters on lvl 13 and 14 with cleaning, drink&cocktail serving, cooks on lvls 12 with over 600 in cooking.
Did not miss a single dish, drink or cocktail, didn't even see a single unhappy face due to unwashed dishes, everything was handled in an instant.

Summary showed party attendants unhappy with thumbs down and I didn't earn half of what I expected.

Any ideas what the heck happened or am I to simply understand lobster eating snobs are a$$holes by default :?

The only thing that matters for event parties is whether guests who are part of the event are able to get a dish with the event's themed ingredient, marked with the little pink ribbon in the upper left of a dish's icon. Everything else behaves as normal operations.

Did you give your branch ingredients for event dishes too?

Kind thx Onyx that surely is the answer to my question. Very useful info I’ll be sure to utilize from now on.
Had no idea branch also counts, plus I kind of thrown entire thing aside and did not pay it much heed.
I just showed team of level 10s there with ingredients I had most in surplus being various shark meats, and shrimps.
Explains how despite complete neglection of branch for w while I had no problem scoring good on previous events being coincidentally shark and shrimp day ^^

To be clear your branch shouldn't affect anything to do with your main restaurant summary (at least to my knowledge), but as the branch does get party guests, event dishes will affect the branch's performance for that night. Can you post a screenshot of your two summary screens?
