SUGGESTION: VR Version
Loving this game, it's totally awesome. I am of the mind that the only possible way to make this game better is to do a VR Version. You would have my money immediately.

Please? Pretty Please? Pretty Please with Cream Cheese and a Cherry on Top!?

Wha? How even?
Couldn't you just play it in vr the usual way?

A first-person diving game would be pretty cool.

Like, you know, Subnautica? ;)

Personally I don't get it. Not only is VR still a niche (less than 2% of Steam users) with a adoption rate that currently seems to stagnate, not every piece of media has to be forced into every other possible niche or format. A good 2D game with well functioning mechanics doesn't necessarily translate into a good 3D/VR game. Even if everyone and their dog had a headset, 2D games still have a reason to exist, just like there are still books 100+ years after the first movie.
Personally a first person VR view of one of the sharks or boss fish charging me with an open mouth is not appealing.... :steammocking:

sorry, but no thanks.

If you play VR long enough and exit there is this really strange disassociation feeling. Played a lot of VR HL and Borderlands. Then walking the busy downtown streets moments after...no thanks.

none of this discounts that a Restaurant Sim/Diving Game wouldn't make for a great VR game.

I'll bet if you did it like a AR window on quest with the same gameplay just adding the 3D depth of the scene and maybe some 2D fish in the room for emersion it would do fine. There is a few Games in a 2.5 d style that do this well. Also, games that are traditional gameplay like Tetris effect do a great job of taking a flat concept and creating an immersive experience. I think this game actually would be really relaxing in VR with a bit of depth. Not sure it needs all the first person stuff.
