Not letting me press (hold) spacebar to start the mission.

I have been trying to play this game and have booted it up several times. I get through the tutorial and when it comes up to the "Press (spacebar) at the arrow to go to the sushi bar!" I have tried pressing/holding with no reaction. I can mouse over the Go button but can't get any reaction from it. Please help

Are you all the way to the left in the cockpit of the boat, where the helm is? The quick travel menu is not a hold menu, just a press. Can you show a screenshot?
