Gyao Turn off

I have absolutely loved Dave the Diver up until i was given the GYAO curse. i'm one of those people that hate having notifications on my phone, so as you can imagine once GYAO was added and i was getting notification every time i went to the boat, i was a little frustrated. is there any way to disable GYAO? i turned off the notifications in the GYAO thing and it still shows up?

When it dies, don't revive it, and there should be no new notifications.
That said, I do have a guide to get all the GYAO! To lower the RNG to a less of a cursed experience.
