Where's the salvage drone??

I've gone through the tuna party, I had a salvage drone for the tuna, used it for the tutorial, then upgraded it to level 2, but I can't find it anywhere. I've tried googling it multiple times, I can't see an answer to where I can find and equip it. I'm a day from the storm shark party and the drone would be really handy just about now.

Since I can't find it anywhere, and I can't find any answers online, I'm sure there's some kind of info I've missed. Anyone know?

The drone is automatically in your arsenal when you go down for the dive. When you trap/put to sleep/kill a large fish or shark, you'll have a prompt (Q on my keyboard) to send the drone to get them while your pretty much on top of the fish. You might have to swim around the fish to get in the right position to bring up the prompt. Hold your button prompt until the drone comes in, and you're good to go.

Thank you so much. I, for some reason, thought that that symbol meant you could ride the dead fish to boost speed like one of those speed boosters, haha. So when I tried to do that just now, the drone picked it up and I came back here to delete the thread. Thanks for replying, though. I'll leave the thread open in case anyone else doesn't know you can't ride a shark ( ) haha

This just seems like complete common sense, though. Which means I really, really want to do this now.
