I am at the very beginning where he says to press space on arrow to go to restaurant? I can't press anything and just using space bar on arrow isn't working. I must not be doing something, but what? Thanks in advance.

I feel so dumb. i figured it out. I didn't realize Dave could walk under the arrow. Thanks for responding. But, while I have you. How do I reel in a fish with the harpoon. I have tried the space bar and I just lose the fish

There's a number of different QTEs, based on your current harpoon type. If you're referring to the basic tip QTE where you have to mash the spacebar, the glib answer would be to mash spacebar more. If you physically can't, there is an accessibility option in the Settings app on Dave's smartphone called "Automate button tapping".

It... sort of works, much of the time. It doesn't work all of the time because the devs seem inexplicably resistant to offering a proper, full accessibility option.

Yeah, that kind of irked me a bit, I am not incapable of mashing the A button to catch a fish but I play this game to chill so holding is preferred for me since I usually use both thumbs to mash buttons in these kinds of QTEs (which is NOT chill). I turned that on and it basically fails every time because it "auto-taps" too slowly.
