Dave not coming back!

I think the Developers could have been a bit more sensitive and named the diver something else. Unless this is a homage to the actual diver Dave who died while completing the World's deepest dive to try and bring back a fellow diver who had died previously trying it.

If you are unaware of the events I am talking about then watch the Film/Documentary called "Dave not coming back." A very poignant and sympathetic film with actual footage from the fateful dive.

R.I.P. Dave. :(

Pretty sure they named it what they did because of alliteration and had no clue who Dave was. I am familiar with the incident you mention but didn't know the guy's name.

Thats a very sad story, but theres zero correlation between the two, aside from both being divers and both sharing the same name lol.

Also, the diver's corpse Dave was trying to recover was just a helper, that kid was not trying for any record when he drowned.

My uncle's name is Dave, and he used to dive a lot off the California coast when he was younger...

Maybe this game is about my uncle.
