The 'extra work' excuse is complete and utter horsesh*t too - there's many modders out there who can fix such unsupported games literally an hour after they launch. Bloober Team's The Medium was a prime example - the developer even said it was a 'technical impossibility' to implement ultrawide resolutions, an HOUR after a modder had done it for them. Absolutely humiliating and all it shows is developer ignorance.
Cult of the Lamb, Dwarf Fortress, Dredge and Shadows of Doubt are just a few recently released games which support this natively with ease. I can go back to 2002 to find games that support this right off the bat now:-

You should be aware that people automatically ignore everything you say when you lead with a bald-faced lie, didn't even read the rest of your propaganda.
You are being continuously excluded and will continue to be continuously excluded. Hence this thread.
This thread doesn't concern you.

5. Launch DTD.
6. Go to Settings
7. Select Fullscreen and 1920x1080.
Its not a "fix" but at least its fullscreen until the devs do better (PLEASE DEVS)
