At the end of Giant Gadon fight, I can't pull pin to fall rocks

I tried over 20 times, as soon as I get in to pull pin phase,
every time I hit the button, Giant Gadon pull me and show re-try.
Every retry I do, that does not fix. So I finally gave up.

I believe this is a bug issue.

Please, solve this for me!~ I do want to finish this game!!

In this video, the game gives the player another opportunity to hit the button right on time, different from my game. Maybe it's a bug?

I got chased down a couple times after not being fast enough but didn't have an issue at the end.

I am also trying to get past this and no one has posted the solution. I have reported it myself and devs are ignoring us. Did you all quit the game? Because that's the only option left to me atm. Restarting didn't help and the event is SO BORING.

Just figured it out! You have to hold down R2 and the right stick while doing the QTE. If you release either, it kicks you out of the QTE and you automatically fail.
