Huge bug?

Has anyone had it happen yet that Otto is "stuck" on the level 3 rice paddy upgrade? I guess it could take longer than the standard (1 day), but he has been stuck expanding it now for over a week in game.
The shovel is stuck on the ground as well, and when he is doing the digging animation there is no shovel in his hand. Looks more like he is hurting himself by touching the handle.
Either way though, can't really do much with him now.

To be honest, Idk this is looks like a huge bug and I've never encountered it in my playthrough. Hope yours can be fixed soon.

Sounds like a huge bug indeed. Otto upgrades the rice paddy overnight after you have bought the upgrade and harvested the rice.
