Thresher and Hammerhead Shark not catchable with the Net Bomb?

Just wondering are these two not catchable with the Net Bomb you can buy at Cobra?

Tried it several times but it did not work properly.
Just curious.

No they are not because they are seen as large fish and the net bomb only works on medium to lower fishes.

Anything the steel net gun can capture, I think the steel net bomb can also the same.

That Hammerhead did not look thaaaat much bigger than say the Shortfin Mako or the Megamouth, but yeah OK.
