Question about Ecowatcher

When the app asks you to kill/catch certain fish, does it just need you to catch that number of fish or does it actually take the meat out of your inventory? (I have a jellyfish party coming up and the app is asking for jellyfish, I'd rather not lose the meat)

In that case I believe it just counts the fact that you've caught/killed those creatures and removed them from the environment. Things like shells/starfish are taken from you, though.

The "Remove Invasive X" quests don't take the items off you, they just want you to catch/kill them, you can even discard them if you want. Starfish are the exception to this though.

I think they may take seaweeds as well?
