Chapter 5 How to activate the crowbar mission...

Hi divers! I'm currently trying to complete the mission called "Melt the Ice" in Glacial Passage . I can see the mirror but can't move the mirror. Then I came to see the discussions here and figured that I should have have the crowbar first? Went to the wrecked ship and saw the crowbar but nothing appears as I move around it. Went up again and talk to Cobra, nothing. Even tried calling him on the ship... nothing either. What should I do to activate the crowbar mission??

Did you go through the door to the left of the mirror and do that area yet? It will shine the beam of light on the mirror to show that you need to move it and so on.

Hi thanks! But I've solved all the puzzles (even thought about bringing the "lighting seed" to the mirror too but failed - entering the room with the mirror will refresh & save the game ...) and I haven't found places to shine the light either, I figured I may need to move the rock on the mirror first? Got stuck there ...

You need to bring the light seed all the way to the left and there is a fish looking device that will produce a light beam.
Then you need to rotate the 2 wheels so the lightbeam can pass throu them, onto the mirror.
then go to the Mirror and Dave will exclaim that you need to move it and that you want to ask cobra for a solution.

I missed a mission in the puzzle area, now I've seen the crabs!!! Thanks!!

No crabs appear... can't grab the crow bar... and CANNOT swim back to the surface... because Dave keeps whining about those dang, freaking CRABS he needs to kill...

I'm having another variation on this issue: after getting the crowbar, when I enter the mirror room, the laser light isn't turned on, and I have to go left to re-do the quest again. There's no prompt to use my crowbar on the rock.

Did you return to the boat after getting the crowbar, or did you swim directly back to the glacial passage?
