Combers?

I can't find these fish anymore. Very present in the beginning, but now, they are no where to be found. I've beaten the main story line as it is now. I want them for dishes. 0-50 meters and I've searched multiple times.

Comber, Ornate Wrasse, and Sea Goldie are all in the same map spawn and took me forever to finish up Marinca. The spawn is just rare, but if you see those bright pink goldies, you'll be able to find some combers too.

They are on that very first map you get when you start the game, which sadly does not come around very often after. It was so rare for me in fact, that the comber was actually the last fish I needed to complete my Marinca.

It's pretty stupid that the rng of the fish, is this bad. Higher rank fish seem to appear about 90% of the time.

I've got 5 I absolutely can't get. I know what they look like. I know the depth they are supposed to be at. I was having fun with the game until I ran into this ridiculous RNG. It gets exhausting returning to the same place day after day and searching for something that didn't even spawn.

I miss these, got everything else:
Comber
Small spotted dart
Ornate Wrasse
Lined seahorse
Zebra seahorse

Every game day I just go out looking for these and don't get them.

Edit: I kid you not, I finished my rant, loaded my day and got the 3 fish within the space of 5 minutes. They are all on the same map, the one I wasn't getting. Now just the seahorses.

Edit 2: Lined Seahorse spawns when you lift the small rocks in the deep caves and the spawn is rng, no wonder I couldn't find it. The Zebra seahorse is also bugged, other threads say it only spawns on a map where the shipwreck (the one you enter) has a low ceiling and it spawns above it near the ceiling instead of in the stalagmite cave/maze where the description says it should spawn.

For me Comber and Whale photo were the last gold marincas to get. Raised 3 Gyaos while looking for them and then got both in the same dive...

So if you miss Whale and Comber and find either one of ot them, try looking for the other in that dive as well.

I actually found my zebra seahorse right outside the sea people mural cave on the opposite side of the map from the shipwreck. Was not expecting that at all. Saw a seahorse and swiped to grab. pop up: NEW!

whatever, I'll take it.
