how to get different gyaos

Ive raised 3 so far and have gotten the dolphin all 3 times. So im just wondering am i unlucky? or does "reviving" it after it dies resurrect the same one just at young age again?

I have read in other comments that the gyaos that is born depend on how you treat it: A lot of food and love would give a seal or manatee, but a lot of food and no love would give a shark for example. Medium food and love would give a small animal. Im doing the gyao achievement so I will let you know if this is true, but its worth trying.

it depends of how you manage it.

edit : my findings so far

1 - 4 food 4 snack , playing / discipline, normal maintenance : Dolphin
2 - 1 food 0 snack , 0 playing discipline, normal maintenance : Yellow takifugu
3 - 4 food 0 snack, 0 playing discipline, normal maintenance : Common Squid

That's not true. I have raised 5 gyaos and always managed them identically, 3 were dolphins, 1 was beluga and 1 was manatee.

Fairly sure it matters when it evolves? If it happens after it already gets hungry / loses affection overnight, then you don't really control the levels

Keep the lights off continuously for breeding, and you will get octopuses.
