ruby spawns

do ruby nodes only spawn in the hydrothermal vents? and if so are they not a 100% spawn chance? ive ran through a few times and havent found any

I believe there are 4 spots where they spawn and there is never a guarantee that one will spawn in any of those spots. And yes, only in the hydrothermal vents.

do you know where the spawns are? ive only been able to find 1 of the spawns in the bottom left by the entrance to the tree
