Reticent Girl "Maki" Quest Bug

I have this mission concerning an important character maki to make her the White Trevally Kombu Ochazuke. But the problem is, I am not given the recipe of the dish, so I am unable to research it and is unable to serve the dish eventhough I have all the Ingredients. Please help me, is this some sort of bug or am I doing something wrong

You don't research those. Bancho comes up with it himself and you server it special in a cutscene before you open the sushi bar.

Just look for the recipe in your recipes and you can put it on the menu when you have all the ingredients! Thanks, rabbit, for clarifying!

Was there any outcome to this? I'm having the exact same problem. I've got loads of all ingredients, all gathered after the quest started, and I've been to Bancho at all hours of the day to see if he triggers learning the recipe. There's no unlearned recipes in my research tab. The girl is there every night but it just continues to show that "you don't know this recipe." Any guidance appreciated!

I had this too. Turns out it shows up in my recipes with a blue head symbol on the bottom left corner of the recipe which actually showed up as my fifth entry. Just wasn't obvious and didn't figure it out until I came here.

make sure you go to your Cooksta app, then go to the Rank Up tab at the top, and then upgrade your rank to unlock the special recipes. this helped me
