So, is there any way to get more of the ingredients or a better time to serve then at the bancho? i just got klaus killed on the night of shark party and i'm wondering if there is any downside to serve the boss dish (i havent served boss dishes since i started playing)

The boss dishes are basically just cash injections. There's no way to get more than the one serving in a single play through so you'll want to serve it with a more sparse menu to ensure that the customers actually order all of it (learned that the hard way). Don't be afraid of just serving them as you get them though, later in the game you'll get regular recipes worth as much or more than the boss dishes, so serve them now and use the cash to upgrade yourself or the staff.

No, you can't.

Auto supply only works if you actually got the ingredients to cook up more of the same meal.

If you wanna cook Sharkhead for example, you are gonna need 1 sharkhead and 1 soy sauce to put the meal on the menu.
After that, auto supply can only proc as long as you have at least one more head and one more soy sauce in the inventory. Otherwise you are just gonna run out of this specific meal.

Would even work, even if above mentioned stuff wouldn't apply, because everything that isn't sold at the end of the night gets tossed in the trash/fed to the cat.
So you would have to put the boss dish back on the menu the following evening, whch you can't, because you already used up the neccessary ingredients the night before.
