Stupid question about jellyfish

Love the game but where in the name of holy diver do you find boiled egg jellies? saw about a million during tutorial and then none. Not that big deal but annoying. Do I really need to savescum them? Feel wrong.

The spawn in the shallows (0-50) but like many things they aren't there in every dive.
Try to net/sleep a couple when you see them, so you have a chance for roe and can put them in the fish farm.

I found that the Egg Jellies spawn most in the middle and right side with the "cliff and pillar biome". You'll notice it when the layout has almost no flat spots.
It really is a coin flip, weather apparently has an influence.
Sunny day (Forecast) + Afternoon + Cliff biome (random) was the highest chance of Fried Egg Jellyfish.
A few Fried Egg Jellyfish were found in nooks on Rainy Day + Morning + Pink/Purple biome
Rainy day + Morning/Afternoon + Cliff biome/Tropical (Clownfish on entry) gave me more Sharks and Barrel Jellyfish

I also found this extremely rough. I'm in chapter 6 atm and haven't seen a Fried Egg Jellyfish since chapter 1. It's blocking my Ecowatcher progress pretty heavily at this point.

From what I've seen much like with iron them seem to show up more in the middle section with the currents or just above it sometimes.

Sometimes I get so desperate I savescum the map. Dave the cheater. No regrets.
