How to get Vampire Squid and Barreleye after the glacial passage is blocked off?

I'm trying to complete the VIP quest and I see that these fish are from the glacial passage which is now blocked off. Any way of getting these fish?

Go back into the glacial passage door from the sea people village. Don't take the mirror.

Fairly straight forward. There be squids and barrel fish in there still.

Please enter through the entrance of the glacier cave next to the Mermaid Village palace.
