"Best Taste" rating on Cooksta App

So, I am at a Gold rating on Cooksta... my likes are almost 200 over requirement for Platinum, but my "Best Taste" score has been stuck at 203 / 250 for over an in-game week!! I have received multiple 5 stars at the end of the night, tried different dishes, upgraded dishes etc., but it hasn't moved. Any tips?? or is this a bug?

I would also like to know this. I’m stuck on platinum so I can assume I was doing fine leading up to it. But the best taste factor must be extremely finicky I had been stuck at 180 for a while. I just recently got more but I have no idea what context allowed that

Best taste refers to the dish on your menu that has the highest taste value (the dude licking his mouth). It's something the game doesn't really elaborate on.

The best taste refers to your best tasting dish. So you need to upgrade or unlock a new dish with a taste rating of 250 or higher

Each dish has a taste icon next to them and the game allows you to sort by price, taste, etc. You'll want to sort by taste and see what you top dish is right now. The dishes you unlock as you progress in the game are the ones you will want to focus on upgrading (like tuna). Additionally you may want to look for the more "complex" dishes that take several types of fish or other ingredients and upgrade those.

Sharks are the quickest and simplest way to increase your taste, Hammerhead being able to clear the goal for Platinum rating.

People have answered but I will be more specific:
When you "ENHANCE" dishes, this increases two stats:
Price, with the money icon.
Taste, with the Happy Face icon.

Enhance a dish until the Happy Face/Taste stat is 250 or above.

I see, I didn't really understand the mechanics of this... Thank you all!! I'm assuming I hit a 'Taste Factor Cap' at that point.

its not really explained but luckily just playing and passively progressing as you normally would (upgrading dishes) ends up getting you there

After careful consideration and research involving these comments I have come to the conclusion that I am an idiot

It was getting me there for a long time... stopped happening 'organically' for me. Once I had the above information, I put my top rated dish (just over 200) on the menu and got +19 "Best Dish" in an evening.

Actually 3 stats, sometimes you will gain additional servings too ;)
