Getting Seahorses to Seahorse Race

So I have a couple Seahorses that I want to bring to the Seahorse Race but every time I go to manage them they aren't there. Am I missing something like I am supposed to select them before diving or do I have to go to a certain section? I kind of forgotten since I don't typically go to it.

You should move to Mermaid Village and enter the amusement park to register the seahorse when capturing it. If you board the yacht directly, the system will give you the option to send the seahorse to the restaurant as ingredients or keep it in the box to register at Mermaid Village during your next dive.

Yeah I always stick them into my inventory and not as ingredients. That Is the part I am having problems with in regards to registration. I go to the guy that runs the race and select manage but I only have 2 Seahorses show up when I have and additional 3. So I feel like I am missing something to register the other ones.

Please choose "Register" instead of selecting "Manage". You must register the seahorse as a participant before playing the game. Be careful not to select "Replace" during the registration process, as it will overwrite any previously registered seahorse participants.

yes pressing CTRL will offer the option to replace an existing seahorse (which IMO should be under the "manage" area)

TY for the info. I actually took a look back on my recording and found I did go to register but it show it as empty besides the ones I had previously. I'll take another look again but I think it's bugged for me.

I'm having the same issue. I always leave the seahorses i want to keep in my inventory but when i go to the seavillage i don't have any in my inventory

Same issue here :( I am sure that I don´t leave the seahorses as ingredients but at next dive on the village not appear any sea horse.

Very frustrating.

I had this issue too. For my next dive, after I surfaced, I went directly to the sea people and my seahorses are there now. I tested this again and it worked, so they either fixed the bug or you need to register the seahorses right after. Good luck!

I know this is an old thread but I am having this exact issue. Did we get to the bottom of the issue?

There's no issue AFAIK (and never was, at least when I started playing in July; just an unclear UI causing the confusion you see in this topic). You have to retain the seahorses at the end of a dive for them to be there the next time you go to the village to register them.

If you retained them correctly, next dive they'll be back in your inventory I believe.
