Stuck : Ancient Control Room "Defeat the hachlings"

I am stuck in the ancient control room, after placing the divine fruit in the machine nothing happens. I watched a playthrough and there supposed to be a cinematic and the hatchlings starts attacking you. I've try restarting and skip to the next day but everytime I get to this step the cutscene doesn't trigger. It's very annoying as I can't complete the main quest.

Yes I have, I also ran out of air to restart at the checkpoint but it is still bugged

I ran "verify integrity of game files" and it fixed me after being stuck there for a week.
