Animations to short
I feel like some of the animations are to short...

I am just starting to appreciate that i am actually dispatching someone, when all of a sudden after what feels like just 5 minutes the dispatching icon vanishes. I am like: Thats it? I payed almost 20 € and i only get this short sensation? Given i will experience it ~12 more times but still. Seems a bit cheap to me.

Same goes with the beluga: I prepare some popcorn to enjoy the amazing sequence of the beluga majestically swooping in when barely halfway thoguh i need to interrupt what i was doing to start save the ~4 seconds of travel time to the end of the village. Here too i am glad to get an encore when manually unmounting.

That's an excellent point, I suppose that perhaps the developers mistakenly thought players would like some gameplay in between their cutscenes to break things up? But even when it comes to that, I don't think scrolling to each employee and menuing to the dispatch button really cuts it. It's strange since they really nailed this in the Sea People village by putting the seed store as far away as possible from the farm, and really spreading the portals out from anything they might be useful next to so that we have plenty of time to soak in the ambience.

But I'm not sure how to bring that experience over to the restaurant, maybe put Dave's manager's office in a basement so we get to watch him climb stairs each time we pick an option?

Um, I thought this is just fine. Animations are cool in the beginning, but once you've seen them enough times the long ones become a big chore to go through.

i used the stylistic device of irony to mask that i act like a whiny child about a minor thing in an otherwise good game

Yes the "Dispatch" and "Training" animations are a bit too long, especially when have to watch them many times in a row when dispatching or training your entire staff

Yeah navigating the Sea People Village was rather annoying. It does not help the "taxi" works really badly, and the two animations for it (entry+exit) adds up to 10 seconds, so you barely safe time using it

Seems like something was lost in translation; it was intended to be called the CBT People village, you see
