Was El Nino nerfed?

Everywhere I read he has very good stats at level 20, but the game shows me pretty much medicore stats at 20.

Cooking: 126
Serving: 986
Procure: 425
Appeal: 138

But on the internet his stats at level 20 look following:

Cooking: 132
Serving: 1033
Procure: 769
Appeal: 901

That's a huge difference in appeal an procure

i have heard there is a lil rng in the stats not sure if thats tru tho. iv noticed the guides on staff arnt great either being incomplete or not totally accurate

Other says, he is unlcoked on Diamond level, but I'm on gold... is he then a doppleganger?

The stats can be checked before you even hire them and you'll get to see what they would be at level 20. Click "Hire" then "Details", if its not what you want after investment would be don't hire.

The internet ad unlocks employees a level higher than you are. He may be diamond and unlocked with ad on gold

you are probably looking at pre 1.0 release stats/information

he doesn't have those stats. Mine is level 10 and has:
Cooking 66, Serving 566. Procure 245, Appeal 108

Out of my 17 employees he still has the best serving stat and what makes him so good are his skills which are Drinking Serving Master & Cleaning Master. If you now also add Raptor who has wasabi refill and cocktail serving (plus high serving) they can literally together handle all tasks in your restaurant without the need to help out.
