Warm suit for glacial zone?

I finished the glacial passage, got to the portal for glacial zone. Chapter 6 started.

I can't enter the glacial zone yet because I have no warm suit. I did the sequence where I talk to the NPC about making a warm suit and he said I have all the components for it, and seemed satisfied.

Now a day and 1/2 has passed since then and I have just been farming sharks and checking each day if I can enter glacial zone, and they say no because I don't have a warm suit. Do I need to just wait longer or talk to some NPC? I tried talking to everyone I could think of.

I have no quests in my questlog other than an unrelated VIP mission.

Unrelated VIP missions tend to be related. It's possible to get ahead of yourself with main story progression. Keep playing.

The suit is finished after 2days and it gets delivered to you in the morning....he (the npc) even told you that

I don't think that's what he is referring to, I also encountered the gap in Main Story missions to which they are referring, and I think it was around that time that I realized that VIP missions advanced the Story / unlocked content and weren't an element of randomization tied to the restaurant sim.

Thanks all. It was both 2 days and the day after the tuna party that I finally got the suit.

It was just weird for the days leading up to it because I missed the text of the suit taking 2 days. I usually skim over the dialogue or not read it at all sometimes.
