Serving drinks
When I first started the game i got 5.0 after every service. I'm on day 15 or so and have all the workers i can, but i get around a 4.0 cause i cant serve people drinks in time. you physically cannot do all the drinks, even if you focus solely on them (ignoring cleaning tables / refilling wasabi). Is their something i'm missing here or is that just how the game is?

Have you trained staff members to serve drinks to help you out?

Staff learn a new skill at levels 3 and 7 (or something like that).

Each one has 2 predetermined skills they will learn, which you can check before you hire them but not after. A few of them will learn how to serve drinks.

Also levelling your staff in general is very important for advancement because it drastically affects income, like at the same level that upgrading your inventory crate for diving does.

I struggled with the drinks too until El Nino came on board. Dave *sucks* at the Diner Dash part of the game, that's the point. He's a pinch hitter when your staff are supposed to be the All-Stars.

On a good night I will clean a couple tables, keep the Wasabi topped off, and grab a drink if, for example, three guests want beer at the same time. Once the restaurant is booming it's impossible for Dave to do more than help out where he can.

Training staff is incredibly important. Not only do they gain traits like the ability to serve drinks and clean dishes, but they increase their overall speed. As you rank up the restaurant you'll need your staff to be fairly high level to keep up with the customers.

You can hire additional staff to be in the waiting room and train them up to procure ingredients for you. You can send them all of them out every day to get things like soy sauce, salt, etc. The higher their procure ability is the higher the quantity they bring back. A couple employees you hire can have a trait to make them bring back even more stuff.

Spend some time looking at all the facets of employees. When hiring new ones you can check their details and see what their stats will be at max lvl 20.

*Pours one out for you*
Yeah, it's a pain lol xD Especially the beer.

They could do a lengthy tutorial on training and upgrades.

Honestly, it took me WAY too long to discover I could send my workers out to get ingredients like soy sauce, turmeric, vinegar etc. It really helps <3

Beer is the hardest, tea the easiest, and cocktails in between.

I'm using El Nino who covers tea and beer, and Drae who covers cocktails. Both clean tables.

Does anyone know if there's any staff with a Cocktail Master skill? I'd love to upgrade Drae with his regular Cocktail skill if possible but I way prefer just grinding wasabi and the occasional plate hustle to having Dave do cocktails.
