I believe I catch them at night time, somewhere around 50m down I think.

I find one regularly on night dives only yellow shipwreck area.

Only at night and around the depth of the yellow boat.

Protip: Marinca cards for undiscovered creatures will list location & time. Creatures also tend to spawn in roughly similar areas. The randomization is more Diablo 2 (prefabs stitched together) than Deep Rock Galactic (Pure procedurally generated maps). You'll get a feel for it with time.
