Why did I just catch and catch and catch this fish to upgrade it, but then 1 hour later I get a lvl 1 dish that is worth x100 of a lvl 10 dish? Makes 0 sense. Why did I spend time upgrading the dish, when it became utterly irrelevant 1 hour later?
Gist of it is to encourage you to keep getting better ingredients until you get the best, not to worry too much about enhancing the early game stuff. In fact, some of the early game recipes are traps as they make you waste Ingredients you might need in the late game.
