game controller 'bug': reassigning RT and A

I know there is no game controller configuration in game yet but you can reassign controls using steam. (I use Xbox controller)

I hate the Aim using A and shoot using RT as pushing RT tends to make my thumb slip slightly and change the aiming position. Aiming with RT pressed and shooting with A makes much more sense and gives a cleaner shot.

Problem is when reassigning, the aiming pressing RT works fine but pressing A to shoot does not work. Anyone been able to swap RT and A in a way that works ?
