transferring them doesnt transfer them to the other branch, it basically fires them. transfer to a different restaurant basically. you get money for transferring them though, youre selling them.
it made more sense when they didnt have the branch in the game, they could probably word it better.
My Branch has no hiring menu button, so I went back to the main restaurant. I got hiring going, but it won't finish until the next day. I thought maybe you're supposed to send one of your other employees to the branch, but the only options are "Details", "Swap", "Remove", "Training", "Dispatch", and "Dismiss". (I would've thought that Dispatch and Dismiss mean the same thing, but I'm just now finding out that Dispatch means "send them out to forage for ingredients"? This is the first time I'm seeing this.) Is there supposed to be a "Transfer to branch" option that's missing? Is your branch just closed until some future event?
Go to the branch (physically or virtually) and open the staff menu there. When you have a staff member in the waiting room, you can place them in the branch. Sounds like you'll have to go without an employee in your main location for one night if indeed you can't open until the branch is manned (can't remember if that's the case).
(I would not consider dismiss and dispatch to be synonyms in almost any scenario)
Appeal stat - matters for the branch manager, I've tested 200 appeal at the main sushi bar, vs 2000, made no difference, but when putting someone with nearly 1k appeal as a branch manager, I almost doubled money made.
