how do you prep meals for special guests?

I got the 1st two guests, and while i have the ingredients, i don't know how to make the dish for them. I was guessing that you'd have to research it, but there's no options to research it.

It happens on the night you arrive, You make it special just for them in a cutscene before the shop opens normally.

Yeah, just have the ingredients ready and Bancho will just make it in a cutscene.

That's so weird! i wonder why it doesn't let me. I have the ingredients but i don't end up getting any prompts. Maybe ill take a screenshot the next time i have a go at it to make sure it isn't a bug or something.

There are some VIPs that you need to serve during the night (without the cutscene) to serve these ones, you need to "research" the dish they want, and manually add it to the menu before opening the restaurant, they will always arrive and order the same thing.

Edit1: Of course you need to have the igredients for the dish to be added to the menu, so check the recipe before.
