Basically my dives at Ch. 6 would be go to glacial zone, kill narwhal and sharks, farm two topaz nodes, aquamarine, ruby and emerald nodes, grab whatever, go back to sea village, swim up to 100m and murder all cuttlefish and trevally (for fins). Even throw in the odd comb jellies and other jellyfish for stingers. It's a long loop but it gets the mats and sushi fish I needed to upgrade a bunch of different weapons while also making money without wasting time segments. A bit overboard, sure, but oddly satisfying, too.
I hear you, I wish there was a trade secret but if there is I haven't found it. Compared to trevally fins the cuttlefish skins seemed generous to me. Or the vampire squid tentacle - I'm not even trying for it and got two on four catches. Now I have to see what it's even used for.
