Anyone got any idea on the games length?

Completely not opposed to short games, don't value games primarily on hours or want to have that debate, just looking for a nice RPG to sink myself in for a good soak.

For anyone thats finished, average how long?
Does it leave open ended allowing to continue play?
NG+ at all?

Took me 80ish hours but I'm a loot ♥♥♥♥♥ and looted all the things before leaving each of my dives and that was just to complete the main story. Game continues on after you beat the main story.

There's still more Chef competitions to do, new recipes to unlock, recipes to upgrade, employees to train, new locations to open, weapon upgrades to unlock. (Though I beat all the boss fights already except 1 which hasn't popped up yet)

It's a great game to play while watching youtube or whatever else you want in the background, really chill. Highly recommend.

Woah I've heard it was only 20 hours, and that was for 100%ing it. I guess that goes to show the game has replayability, and different people feel comfortable playing at their own pace.

I bought the game a day or two ago in the summer sale (time is ... fluid ... maybe Saturday?).

I played a bit. I played other games. I started focusing on Dave the Diver. There is ... a lot more content than I ever realized.

I generally get bored of games after 40 hours. I'm around 10 hours and feel like I've barely scratched the surface. There was lot more to this than I expected, but I also like to take my time exploring and not just jump through the main storyline, so....

Seen a lot of people saying the same content wise, good to know there's a lot of depth. Looks like I need to dive in.

Yea it's definitely not 20 hours, I mainlined the main story too during my dives, always progressing it when it allowed me to. Though, I definitely filled up my inventory to max every dive.

Some items for weapons maximum level and all achievements took me about 40 hours. But I am still missing a few Marinca cards.

Boy let me tell you, you get a LOT for your money! I'm 30 hours in the game and the game still throws new mechanics and gameplay elements at me.

It's approx. 25~30 hours to get most of the story campaign out of the way. You'll still have quite a lot to do post-game if you're a completionist.

I'm like 30 - 35 hours in at end of Ch. 6 (33 in-game days passed) with several things to upgrade still, but an overall pretty pimping operation. Seems like I have a decent amount of stuff to acquire for completionist plus max restaurant, support and diver, though my skin is looking pretty wrinkly.

Currently I'm at around 22 hours and the game keep going and going, you keep unlocking new stuff for the gameplay and I am actually very surprised by the amount of content available. So far I haven't finished the game's story and I think I'm at Chapter 5 or 6, but so far I really like what the devs have created.

I still haven't upgraded all of my equipment, the sushi bar is still at "Gold" level, I haven't even really started decorating it yet, my farms also haven't been upgraded and I'm still missing some items to further enhance my weapons. Last but not least I haven't discovered all of the fish yet.

It took me 50 hours to complete the story and finish about 90% of the achievements. I'm estimating it will take me another 5-10 hours to finish my last achievements and 3 star marinca card collection.

I'm at 19 hours and I am only on chapter 3.. maybe I'm slow? I feel like I'm barely even really in the game yet. I'm also a collector/pack rat so I am constantly grabbing stuff.
