Cant find the Glacial area

So I've finished the giant gadon runaway thing and I've now got the special suit for the cold but for the life of me I cant find the glacial area I've looked in the glacial passage but nothing seems to be there

use the mirror to enter it-either from the boat or at the village mirror

If you have entered the glacier area through the mirror then swim down directly under the mirror, that is the main part.

If anyone else was confused like me, it's not something you can enter (at least not directly) by swimming over to the glacial passage in the sea people village. it's accessible via the mirror either on the boat or in the sea people village.
