Bonito & FishMon

So i still have no idea how the bonito looks like or where to find it-and i have every possible area at least at 90% or higher. Since its needed for the curry-event i am a little confused why it doesnt spawn like the tuna for the tuna event?!? (and yes i went diving day AND night)
I cant catch the second Jelly for FishMon-netgun didnt work so did the netbomb, dartgun either so any suggestion on how to catch that teleporting jelly alive?? thanks in advace!!

The Atlantic mackerel and Atlantic bonito bear a striking resemblance in appearance and inhabit the same area (near the presence of Tiger shark, around the sunken submarine, close to the Blue Hole Depths region). Both species move in groups of two to three individuals. The key difference lies in the fact that the Atlantic bonito has a slimmer body and lower HP compared to the Atlantic mackerel.

Udo hinted that the jellyfish will teleport if you get too close, you need to use long range weapon such as sniper rifle

well since you have to catch it alive, my rifle is useless cause that'll just kill it instead of capturing it

did you actually kill it with sniper rifle? i used the most basic crafted sniper rifle and after a few shots it got stunned. if you are really insecure, then craft a tranq sniper rifle,

i used the second upgrade of the rifle...with fire i think...but first i tried netgun and tranq rifle...now i'll try and use the ice gun next :D

i dont think any of the fishmon can be killed, it will only knock it unconscious for you to catch. I sniped the jellyfish and just picked it up

I killed the jellyfish by accidentally shooting it a second time. It was there again the next time I dived

I scavanged a local sniper rifle by luck, shot the jelly 1 time which stunned it, swam over and picked it up.

A tier 2 Fire Sniper worked fine for me.

The official description for fishmon quests is VERY misleading.

The 'do not kill' is basically told to 'Dave' the diver and not to 'you' the player.

You as a player need to ABSOLUTELY BRUTALIZE the ♥♥♥♥ out of fishmon.

Dave the diver however will ensure the fish remains alive regardless of how brutally you wanted to kill it.

You CAN kill fishmon if you continue shooting/stabbing BUT you are always allowed to capture fish first regardless of method of damage.

Is the atlantic bonito supposed to super rare? I have somehow never seen or caught it in any of my dives. And I've also noticed that some fish only spawn in certain seeds (Comber, Ornate Wrasse, Sea Goldie, Spotted dart are always found together in the same dive but sometimes they are completely absent in the area).
