Mural Picture Impossible

I see a lot of people having problems with the pink dolphin photo today but I am having a problem with a different one. I just started the glacial passage. I went right through a movable wall puzzle and came across a mural I am supposed to photograph. It needs to include both "The Ancient Sea People" and "The Ancient Divine Tree" but no part of the mural satisfies the ancient people requirement. It will only recognize the tree. Does this game have camera upgrades or is this a similar bug?

I had problems with that one as well. Zoom out fully and try to get more of the tree and people at the bottom.

Alright I tried again and the sea people just does not highlight as green on it's own. It was a pretty small area to find. Thanks for confirming it wasn't the same bug though.

Just a follow-up, *all* of the glacier passage murals are a bit of a pain. It's not even remotely clear what you're supposed to be taking a picture of, it's just moving the camera gradually across the whole thing and trying over & over until you just happen to be in the right spot.

the game needs to explain zooming in and out better, i wasn't even aware that was a possibility

You need to zoom the camera out. Look at the bottom of the screen.

I had this issue yesterday too, with the exact mural you described. I just randomly moved around the mural taking pics til I got it, but devs should probably still consider this bug unresolved.

still impossible after a patch that was supposed to resolve this. Took 50+ photos. no dice. you can get a sense by seeing the objective status every time. i panned around every corner where i was 2/3 and then explored between but nothing got me 3/3. must still be broken.

Sadly now I got the bug, that I cant zoom out at all. Pressing and holding Z all the time, camera still will not zoom out.

it only Z on default US layout I believe. If you have a different keyboard layout you need to press whatever key is in the Z-position. That would be Y for German keyboard for example. (whatever is left to X)

There's an indicator that starts to blink a green light when you're aiming the camera right. Not sure if that was always there or when it was added, but it works. No need to take pictures randomly, just pan around and zoom until the indicator shows you got it.
