Capture FishMon
I'm trying to figure out how to capture a Horned Parrotfish, but nothing I have access to have worked so far. Tranq gun does nothing and it ignores steel net traps and the net gun (even fully upgraded). Should I farm for a toy hammer or tranq harpoon?

Not the most intuitive solution. Love this game, but it has a tendency to introduce new mechanics and break its own rules.

I was wondering the same thing...the game said to not kill it so I assumed attacking it would fail the quest. I wish they would word it differently, it probably confuses a lot of people.

I used a tranquilizing harpoon and shot it from behind. I immediately got the response from Udo that it was a success. Definitely went into it trying NOT to deal damage, ended up being a fun challenge.
