Its not semi rare, it's extremely rare. I've broken over 30 ruby ores and still haven't seen in with 80 hours in this game

Nope, you jsut need Eco Gemstone Braclet and go mining ruby ores, its 100% will occur

I got the bracelet and i'm still searching after mining a lot of rubys....

Not true. Have the bracelet.... and it not spawn a single one after 3–4 days trying. It's the last entry I need in Marinca

It's really rare, just keep trying. Look in all four places for the ruby to spawn. The seahorse will come up out of the ground after you're done mining. It might take one or two seconds so wait around.

That last bit was important for me - the seahorse does spawn every few times you mine the ruby, but it rises from the ground quite slowly, so make sure to doublecheck before moving on.

you do need to wait some time to after breaking the ruby for it to spawn, within 10 seconds though and can sometimes blend in..

I finally got it, two days later.... but still after 5 times... and yes I know that they were rises from the ground slowly... I did wait at least 5-10 seconds per Ruby, I got mine after around 20-25 tries.

Thats not the point of this Comment xD that Guy above claim that wearing the Eco Gemstone Bracelet, will give you 100% on the seadragon spawn, which is not true.

I'm sure this person didn't mean to belittle or offend anyone. They probably just don't understand the meaning of 100% and might need some educating.

Yeah possible, I got mine after 35-40 tries, and was happy that I no longer need to farm them :D

So just to add my two cents here, I was also skeptical of the claim that the eco bracelet would have any effect here, but after what felt like days and days of post-credits diving and mining 20-30 rubies, I still hadn’t seen it.

Then my wife started using the dumplings that increase the “seaweed” yield (seems ti increase chances of duplicates of any plant and ore yields) and she saw it pretty quick after using that a couple days.

So I decided to finally just equip the eco bracelet and then got it the ruby seahorse to appear on the first day with it equipped. I’m sure it doesn’t make it a 100% certainty, but it’s possible the chances simply increase because perhaps there’s a diceroll for each individual ruby that gets mined to also spawn the seahorse, therefore the eco bracelet may actually increase the odds pretty decently.

Playing on the latest version on PS5 for what it’s worth.
