Farming Cucumbers?

Really enjoying the game, but got an event that required that I grow cucumbers and make cucumber based dishes. I apparently have the seeds, but there are no prompts or tutorials to start growing them. Any ideas/help? Or is this a bug?

grow them the same way you grow all the other crops, but incase you havent unlocked the farm yet, ill guess you got the event out of sequence

I had the same issue just now, then I spoke to Otto at the farm. Turns out he sells various seeds (Shop option is below Talk) including cucumber seeds and fully grown cucumbers (200 golds a piece). Ended up buying grown cucumbers for the event.

I also got stuck on this part, turns out MUST progress the main story to unlock the vegetable store and additional farming mechanic. If you do not progress the main story in time you will not have enough time to get your cucumbers ready for the party

Ooh I am just stuck on this and posted about it. I wish Id found this first. So buy seeds from him. I wish it had said that in the quest description rather than saying talk to him. There are two options, Talk and Shop. Talk does nothing,
