Jellyfish Party Mechanics?
Anyone figure out how these event days work?

I'm trying to optimise my evening, but I am still confused by a few restaurant mechanics.

1. Some customers glow and are here for the event. Some do not and I assume these must be normal customers. This might explain why some of the orders have a gold star in the speech bubble while others do not.

So this tells me that sometimes the jellyfish sushi is being ordered by the partygoers and sometimes by ordinary folks.

Sometimes I get a customer whose speech bubble indicates "No Jellyfish" and they walk out without ordering. Yet there is jellyfish leftover at the end of the evening...

Is this an ordinary customer who refuses to eat jellyfish? Or is this a jellyfish customer who refuses to eat the one kind of jellyfish left? Does this mean that customers have food they will not order when they are spawned?

2. How do you pour beer perfectly?

3. Does the number of customers fluctuate or is it exactly 28 per evening?

4. How do I manipulate the menu so that everyone orders the more expensive food items so only the cheap items are leftover...

I have 11 fancy expensive jellyfish sushi, and I usually add 3 more of the next most expensive because I figure about half of the customers are there for jellyfish, then the other 14 dishes are my expensive mainstays. For some reason I get 1 or 2 customers leaving because of no jellyfish and the night ends with 2 more dishes of expensive jellyfish sushi leftover.

I'm pretty sure they're all here for the event. I never had an issue with people being unhappy when I only served the dishes with a little pink ribbon on them, so idk what's going on there.

2. Start with a long push then tap tap tap the button until it's almost full (they say 20% foam but i don't think it's a precise measurement, I get perfect like 95% of the time.

3. Not sure but I'm guessing it's a mix of your rating on cooksta and your staff (the appeal/attract stat, not sure what it's called in english) I finished the game and I get around 45/50, not everything maxed out yet so you can possibly get more I'll try.

4. Maybe there's a way but I just prepare a little less, maybe one or two client don't have anything but at least there's no leftover

1. I think it might be a bit of a bug for some of them displaying that. I had someone get upset about no shark dish on shark night, but I had 6 different shark dishes at that time. Unless they wanted a specific dish that I hadn't prepared.

3. There are caps, so once you hit them you can fairly reliable say you will have that many people. Between the caps is where it is tricky. I had 35, 37, 36, 40, 38 guests come. So I scrape the barrel for them. I'll put on say 35 of my high end dishes, then when they run low I add in a few trash that losing them won't hurt. Like I have a bunch of clione still, so I'll toss like 6 of them on near the end of the night. Only like 100some coins, but it helps to preserve my stars for research. That's also an easy dish to auto-supply as well.

4. I put them on later on in the night

You can add dishes while restaurant is open?

Do you add the more expensive ones after opening and they buy it more reliably? I'd be interested to learn more about this
The no jellyfish indicates that the specific jellyfish they want is not available. So you need to sparse your menu in a way that you don't run out too quickly of a specific type, otherwise you'll have unhappy bastard.

When the game tells you to stock up, it meant it.

1.) Party events means there are unique customers that pay more for their specified dish, and you can tell which dish this is because it will have a pink ribbon, so stock up and serve lots of those.

2.) As for beer, I found tapping three times works, I can even get by tapping twice, its okay if some foam spilled over or you didn't fill the glass to the brim, as long as there is just 20% foam.

3.) I guess this is affected by the Charisma skill from all current staff as well as the number of food available, the customers will cap to the amount of food you have but reaching the cap depends on the average charisma

4.)I just sell expensive meals and I never have any leftovers, I think. if its for the events like in the Jellyfish party I only served Jellyfish and they bought all of it.

Beer can be done by taping twice. first fill at about 60%, pause, then start filling to the max when the glass straightens.
