Final Boss Meat & unique ingredients

Has anyone been unable to get the meat from the final boss? After defeating it, the game goes instantly to cutscene, and then the meat is lost forever. Also, what's the point of having items made of unique ingredients and then they can only be served once?

ye, i had to go back later and its body was there i could loot, the point is...maybe cool unique? idk, i never used them, i like looking at them

I hope instead if unique meals, they could make boss parts as furnitures for use in the sushi shop, like placing a kronosaurus jaw as a decoration. That would be much cooler

You know what would be fun? After serving the dish you can go back to fight it again for just the meat, but only one can be held at a time.

Here here. Does feel like a waste a bit a little nonsensical. I mean, surely a special dish like goblin shark would get folks interested and want to try it. Plus the blue hole operates under weird logic, so who's to say boss whirlpools aren't actually a common occurrence?

I think the boss meals are just meant to be a quick boost to your money. Like instead of you getting 6000G for beating the boss, you get an ingredient that makes a meal set worth 6K. Not that that helps me. Years of gaming has taught to hoard every item until I l know I can get them repeatedly, so all those boss ingredients are still sitting in my inventory.
